It's Halloween night, and two little witches are ready to trick or treat!

With their pointed hats and striped socks, the witches set off into the night. They knock on doors and shout, "Trick or treat!" And the people inside give them all sorts of yummy treats.

But then, the witches come to a dark and spooky house. They're a little bit scared, but they decide to go inside anyway.

As they walk through the house, they see all sorts of spooky things. There are cobwebs and spiders, and ghosts and goblins. But the witches are brave, and they don't let anything scare them.

Finally, they reach the end of the house. And there, in the middle of the room, is a big bubbling cauldron. The witches look inside, and they see a delicious-looking brew.

"I wonder what it is," says one of the witches.

"I don't know," says the other witch. "But it sure does smell good."

The witches take a sip of the brew, and their eyes widen. "It's delicious!" they say.

The witches finish the brew, and then they start to feel strange. They start to grow taller and taller, and their skin starts to turn green. And their noses start to grow long and pointy.

The witches look at each other, and they start to laugh. "We're witches!" they say.

And with that, the witches fly out of the house and into the night. They soar through the air, and they land in a pumpkin patch. They pick out the biggest pumpkin they can find, and they carve it into a jack-o'-lantern.

Then, they fly back to their house, and they put the jack-o'-lantern on the porch. They light a candle inside, and they watch as the flames flicker and dance.
